We are a family-owned, Colorado-based remodeling company, led personally by Chris and Alexa Hurlburt and backed by a vetted circle of tradespeople and vendors we have worked with for years and trust wholly. Founded in 2023, FHR is intentionally small so that your project never gets handed off. Behind the studio is a network of cabinet makers, tile setters, electricians, plumbers, and finish carpenters we have personally vetted and worked alongside for years. You get the attention of a husband-and-wife team and the firepower of a full luxury build crew, without the overhead, the runaround, or the rotating cast of strangers in your home.
Chris leads the build. He brings 15+ years in commercial HVAC and full-scale construction, with licensing and certifications across HVAC, welding, ICC, IBC, and IFGC. That background means your mechanical, structural, and code work is handled with the same rigor as a hospital or municipal build, applied to a home that has to feel personal. Alexa leads the experience. Her background in business, finance, and program management keeps your project on schedule, on budget, and clearly communicated from day one.
